My home

I have been doing so well here in Kenya! My heart daily wants to explode from the joy of serving here at Encouragement. God has been so faithful and I often feel like I need to "pinch" myself to make sure I am not just dreaming. This place has become my home and I know I am exactly where I need to be right now and I am so thankful that I listened to the Lords calling.

We have so many things that need to be done here and I am praying about how to prioritize and organize the most important. Right now, we are in dire need of a few things that I mentioned in my previous email. I wanted to give you all an update on where we are at with each project and maybe give you some insight on a way you could get involved.

  1. Washing Machine: Fully Funded! (We just received the washing machine and now we are having it installed. Pictures to come when it is up and running!)

  2. Incinerator: Total amount still needed-$560. I would like to begin building this in the next week.

  3. Wall/Gate: Total amount still needed-$4,750! This will help with security and safety of the children and the home. We want to begin this project on November 1st.

  4. Christmas Playground: $5,000. We would like to begin building this by December 1st so that by Christmas the kids will be playing on it :)

God has begun to supply so many needs and I am excited to see how he will continue to provide at just the right time. If you would be able to give towards any of these projects, please let me know which project you would like to give too and then click this link to give today: Donate Here

Other news: We have welcomed two new boys (Moses and Amos) into the home this week and they are already smiling and thriving. They haven't stopped smiling since they got here! Full bellies, showers, new clothing, and a bed to sleep in would make anyone want to smile non stop when you have never experienced any of those things! Pictures here:

I am thankful for all of you and your continued support towards this ministry. God is good and faithful and I am so thankful for His continued guidance and direction in my life.
